Summary: Virtual Cinema 6D is designed for one purpose: enhancing the video viewing experience in Chrome with cinema-style visual effects. Most video detection, website-content handling, color analysis and audio-reactive processing happens locally in the browser. We do not sell user data, we do not use user data for personalized advertising, and we do not build a browsing-history profile from the videos or websites you watch.

2. Chrome Web Store Limited Use disclosure

Virtual Cinema 6D uses Chrome extension permissions and user data only to provide or improve the product's single purpose: cinema-style video viewing effects, account login, Pro access, saved settings and support.

The use of information received from Chrome extension APIs and Google APIs will adhere to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

We use user data only to provide or improve the extension's single purpose and user-facing features.
We transfer user data only when necessary to provide or improve the extension, process payments, provide support, protect against abuse/security issues, or comply with law.
We do not use or transfer user data for personalized ads, retargeting, interest-based advertising, data broker services, creditworthiness or lending decisions.
Humans do not read website content, media signals or account data unless you request support, it is necessary for security/abuse prevention, it is required by law, or the data is aggregated/anonymized for internal operations.

3. Data we collect or access

The data we collect or access depends on which features you use. Some data is processed locally in Chrome and never uploaded to Voxly/Wavswap servers.

4. How we collect data

From you: when you log in, request a code, contact support, buy Pro or save presets.
From the extension: when you choose settings, activate the extension, use Audio Reactor, use Scene Light Follow, detect the current video area or save presets.
From payment processing: Stripe sends subscription/payment status events so Pro access can be activated, renewed, cancelled or removed.
From technical operation: servers create standard logs needed for security, debugging and abuse prevention.

5. How we use data

To provide the cinema room, ambient glow, scene light, Audio Reactor and related extension features.
To detect the active video/player area and place effects around the video.
To remember your settings, selected modes, saved presets and login status.
To verify Pro subscription status and unlock Pro features after payment.
To sync saved presets if you use account/cloud preset features.
To process payments and subscription updates through Stripe.
To provide support, troubleshoot bugs and improve reliability.
To prevent abuse, secure the service and comply with legal obligations.

6. Local processing of website content, audio and video signals

Audio Reactor and Scene Light Follow are designed to process the active tab's media signals locally in Chrome. The extension may analyze volume changes, frequency bands, dominant color signals, video/player size or page layout information in order to create visual effects.

We do not upload the movie, video stream, audio stream or screenshots of what you watch to Voxly/Wavswap servers for the cinema effect. Protected streaming pages may limit or block some visual sampling, and the extension may fall back to safer effects.

7. Data sharing and all third parties

We do not sell user data. We only share data where needed to operate the service, process payments, provide support, secure the product or comply with law. The parties below are the parties user data may be shared with.

8. What we do not do

We do not sell user data.
We do not transfer user data to advertising platforms, data brokers or information resellers.
We do not use user data for personalized, retargeted or interest-based ads.
We do not use user data for creditworthiness or lending decisions.
We do not collect or store full payment card numbers.
We do not intentionally collect health information, precise GPS location, passwords or personal communications for this product.
We do not track keystrokes, record mouse movement or collect general browsing history.
We do not build a browsing-history profile from the videos or sites you watch.

9. Storage and retention

Local extension settings: stored in Chrome storage until you reset the extension, uninstall it or clear browser data.
Account and Pro status: stored while your account or subscription is active and as needed for records, support, security and legal obligations.
Saved presets: kept until you delete them, reset the extension or ask us to remove cloud-synced presets.
Login codes: temporary and used only for verification.
Server logs: kept for a limited time for security, debugging and abuse prevention.
Support emails: kept as needed to answer your request and maintain support records.

10. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect user data. This includes HTTPS for website/API communication, server access controls, private server-side environment variables and Stripe for payment processing. No system is completely secure, but we work to reduce risks and limit data use to the product's purpose.

11. Your choices and controls

You can turn the extension on or off at any time.
You can disable Audio Reactor, Scene Light Follow, saved presets or other features in the extension settings.
You can clear local data by resetting the extension, clearing Chrome extension storage or uninstalling the extension.
You can manage or cancel your Pro subscription through the account/checkout flow or by contacting support.
You can request deletion of account or cloud preset data by emailing support@wavswap.com.

12. Children's privacy

Virtual Cinema 6D is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate action.

13. International users

If you use Virtual Cinema 6D outside the Netherlands or the European Union, your data may be processed in countries where our service providers operate. We take steps to handle user data consistently with this policy and applicable privacy requirements.
