Privacy Policy
This privacy policy explains how Voxly Audio Enhancer handles data for the Chrome extension and related Voxly account features.
Audio stays local No selling user data Account used for Pro unlockLast updated: May 13, 2026
Single purpose
Voxly Audio Enhancer has one purpose: to let users enhance audio from the active browser tab after they choose to start the extension. Features may include volume boost, reverb, voice clarity, equalizer, stereo/cinema effects, a reactive visualizer, and saved presets.
Audio processing
Browser audio is processed locally in your browser using the extension’s audio engine. Voxly Audio Enhancer does not upload your browser audio to Voxly servers for processing.
Data we may collect
Depending on how you use Voxly Audio Enhancer, we may process the following data:
- Email address: used to identify your Voxly account and check whether Pro features are unlocked.
- Authentication/access status: used to keep you logged in and verify your Pro status.
- Saved audio presets: if you save presets, the preset name and audio settings may be stored locally and, for Pro users, synced with your Voxly account.
- Website audio content: the extension may capture and process audio from the active tab locally in the browser only when you start the extension on that tab.

Data retention
Local extension settings may remain in your browser until you remove the extension or clear its storage. Account and subscription data may be kept as long as needed to provide the service, maintain billing records, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations.
